I do not give my endorsements lightly, and this one is deeply personal.
Years ago, I stood in a courtroom as a victim of domestic violence. I had been strangled and held at gunpoint. I was facing my abuser, terrified and unsure whether the system would truly protect me.
At the time, Willie Ng was serving as Chief Criminal Investigator for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. Despite holding a high-level leadership role, he personally reached out and made sure justice wasn’t just processed but done.
Willie was instrumental in overseeing my case. Because of his actions, my abuser was put in jail, and I was protected.
What makes this even more extraordinary is that during this same period, Willie Ng was battling stage four throat cancer. While fighting for his own life, he fought for mine — and won both battles.
